Les tortues sont particuli\u00e8rement concern\u00e9es par ce sujet, car elles ne portent pas seulement leur maison sur leur dos, <em>mais tout un \u00e9cosyst\u00e8me<\/em>&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La peau et la carapace des tortues sont parfaites pour le d\u00e9veloppement de diff\u00e9rents \u00e9pibiontes, \u00e0 la fois sessiles (<em>bien ancr\u00e9s \u00e0 la carapace!<\/em>), s\u00e9dentaires (<em>qui se d\u00e9placent un peu mais pas trop loin non plus<\/em>), ou mobiles. Et combien peut-il y en avoir ? Il suffit de regarder les tortues caouannes (<em>Caretta caretta<\/em>) pour trouver plus de 200 esp\u00e8ces d&rsquo;\u00e9pibiontes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><strong>La R\u00e9publique Tortue<\/strong>. <\/strong>Parmi ses <em>paisibles citoyens<\/em>, on trouve les Cirrip\u00e8des (un groupe de crustac\u00e9s comprenant les balanes ou encore les pouce-pieds), consid\u00e9r\u00e9s comme des pionniers puisqu&rsquo;ils facilitent l&rsquo;arriv\u00e9e d&rsquo;autres colonisateurs. Source : <a href=\"https:\/\/news.clas.ufl.edu\/joseph-pfaller-mike-gil\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/news.clas.ufl.edu\/joseph-pfaller-mike-gil\/\">University of Florida<\/a><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/li><\/ul><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Outre les balanes, on trouve toutes sortes de crustac\u00e9s, de mollusques, de cnidaires, d&rsquo;\u00e9chinodermes, de macroalgues (vertes, brunes, rouges), d&rsquo;\u00e9ponges et m\u00eame de poissons qui profitent de la <strong>R\u00e9publique des tortues<\/strong> pour vivre de mani\u00e8re mutualiste, commensale ou &#8211; plus rarement &#8211; parasitaire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Un exemple classique est celui des crabes du genre <em>Planes <\/em>qui vivent g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement en couple et se cachent dans la zone de la queue (oui oui, ils se r\u00e9fugient dans le cul des tortues), d&rsquo;o\u00f9 ils sortent pour se nourrir d&rsquo;autres \u00e9pibiontes. Les tortues offrent une protection \u00e0 leurs colonisateurs et r\u00e9duisent la concurrence avec les autres esp\u00e8ces. Nous en avons parl\u00e9 dans \u00ab\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/fitopasion.com\/2020\/04\/en-la-piel-de-las-ballenas.html\">En la piel de las ballenas<\/a>\u00a0\u00bb (article en espagnol).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mais concernant les tortues, il n\u2019y a pas eu d\u2019articles publi\u00e9s avant <strong>2015!<\/strong> Incroyable non ? (2015)<\/a><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/li><\/ul><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De nouveaux genres ont \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 identifi\u00e9s, comme <strong><em>Poulinea<\/em><\/strong> et <strong><em>Medlinella<\/em><\/strong>, ou de nouvelles esp\u00e8ces d&rsquo;autres genres comme <strong><em>Tursiocola<\/em><\/strong> (<em>T. denysii, T. guyanensis et T. ying-yangii<\/em>) ou <em>Tripterion<\/em> (<em>T. societatis<\/em>), typiques des c\u00e9tac\u00e9s (diatom\u00e9es \u00ab\u00a0c\u00e9tac\u00e9s\u00a0\u00bb)&#8230;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8230;d\u2019autres genres plus communs dans les biofilms marins comme <strong><em>Achnantes, Nitzschia et Proschkinia<\/em><\/strong> (<em>P. sulcata<\/em>, <em>P. lacrimula<\/em>, etc.), ont \u00e9galement \u00e9t\u00e9 retrouv\u00e9s.
